Tuesday 14th January was DEAR day (Drop Everything And Read) and St James’ had many fun and engaging activities for the pupils to take part in. On the day students brought their own book in and at various points throughout the day the bell rang which signaled for them to drop everything and read.
English lessons were dedicated to reading activities, a reading challenge has taken place throughout the week in the library along with crafting activities and over on twitter we have a challenge for you to guess which of our teachers have posted a Shelfie of the Day (answers at the bottom of this post). Mrs Peters and Mrs Gill have made this a very enjoyable week for all.
