Yesterday we celebrated World Book Day at St James’. The pupils took part in book quizzes and creative tasks such as giving meanings to nonsense words. In the library students were able to enjoy a Mad Hatter’s tea Party at lunch time, where they were served with tea and cakes.
The staff also joined in the celebrations with fancy dress! The Senior Leadership Team dressed as Where’s Wally, the English Dept dressed as Alice in Wonderland and there were many other characters to spot around school among the teaching staff.
It was a great day had by all!
