Since Year 7, the pupils (now in Year 9) deliver Candy Canes with lovely messages around school. Pupils can buy one for 50p, write a message on a slip of paper that then gets written out and attached to the candy cane and delivered to Form during registration.
Not only do we raise lots for charity (last year we raised £70 and paid for 15 Christmas dinners for the homeless in Stockport at the Wellspring) but it’s a lovely way to write a friendly note to others in order to brighten their day.
Definitely needed this year!! First day of selling today and they have raised £8 in 10 mins!! We want to say thanks to the School Council who are helping us to sell to their own year groups due to restrictions.
