We have a long and proud tradition of a wide variety of trips at St James’.
In their first weeks at St James’, all of our students in Year 7 spend the day with their Form to allow them to get to know and support one another. In September 2023, as in previous years, this took place at Savio House.
In Year 8 through to Y11, children have the opportunity to attend a day retreat with their Form groups. We use different retreat providers to make sure they have a fun time whilst exploring what their faith means to them.
Children are also invited to visit either France, Germany or Spain. This affords them the opportunity to be immersed in a different culture as well as an opportunity to speak the language they are studying in school.
In Year 10 and 11, we offer a bi-annual ski trip.
We hope to be able to organise the following trips in the academic year 2023-24 and more information will be provided by the staff organising these trips. Please note that these trips are always subject to change:
