Thursday 11th July was the Annual Stockport Schools Sports presentation evening at the Plaza. The evening is a celebration of sport for all of the schools in the borough from Reception to Year 11. The night was attended by many special guests, the Major of Stockport, Ex Olympic medal winner Alan Newton and the celebrity guest of honour was former St James’ pupil, England netballer Gabby Marshall. Mia and Abbie had the pleasure of interviewing Gabby on stage, they were very professional thoughout the interview and hid their nerves well.
St James’ Catholic High School and their pupils were recognised for their many achievements and successes over the last academic year and were awarded with a myriad of trophies.
